The Story Behind Eazy
Eazycation fondly called Eazy was started by Tracy Chong, a Travel Blogger and Organizer based in Indonesia. She started traveling since the year 2008 and she never stopped since then. She fell in love with the feeling of getting lost and meeting people as opposed to her profession that time that required her to work behind the desk most of the time.
Eazycation is actually formed from a twist of two words, easy and vacation. Going to vacation not always has to be hassle – that is the message she tries to deliver.
She shares her travel stories on her blog, Peek Holidays. Because of her love of writing as well, it has landed her more travel opportunities in her home country, Indonesia. Her dream is to promote destinations in Indonesia to people as many as possible as well as to get people to remember to take a break from their busy lives and spend time enjoying beautiful places with their loved ones.
How it all came to be
The Birth of Eazy
It all started with her curiosity to travel and explore her home country, Indonesia. In late 2013, she tried to gather people with the same interests by setting up her travel group on one paid online platform which she named, Indonesia Explorer. Unexpectedly, the response was great and she received requests to organize more trips.
However, over time, she realizes that it is too time-consuming to maintain many platforms on her own. So, she decided to gather all the information about the trips she organized in one place and that was how Eazycation was born. She set up Eazycation as a home for all her travel planning and organizing matters.
She knows that planning a vacation can be a pain in the neck, so, she tries to get into the planning part so that people who join her can skip all the hassles and head on to enjoy the trip. Currently, she has a small team of people who support her with all the incoming queries if she is on the road.
